Learning Objectives Include:
- Learners will be able to understand the relationship between childhood abuse/neglect and their relationship to Cluster B personality disorders.
- Learners will be able to identify how the symptoms/behaviors associated with Cluster B disorders often manifest in clinical (SUDs) settings.
- Learners will be able to identify common countertransferential reactions to Cluster B symptoms/behaviors.
- Learners will be understand different individual approaches to managing countertransference.
- Learners will know how to effectively identify and respond to personality symptoms/behaviors in a clinically useful and client centered way.
- Learners will be able to understand the importance of team and systems based approaches to managing cluster B symptoms/behaviors.
